Words to live by

Another atc.
I went through my somerset again recently and realised I have used the exact words that one of the artists used in the magazine. It is uncanny as I did not realise I was using the same words when I made the atc. Obviously what we view in magazines and around us leaves a footprint even though we may not be totally aware of it at the time of looking.

A pair of atc's

I was up late again messing around. At least there is no green here. Got a few new stamps that I was playing around with.
They are cool!

For a dear Friend

Green seems to be turning up a lot; not sure why!

Flora again

I played around with the colors and did a bit more stamping. I like this one better!

Flora

I decided to make a tag this week for Wednesday Stamper. I might redo this in some unconventional colors! Just to do something different. I need to get my stuff from London!!!! I am still waiting for it to arrive and it is driving me nuts since most of my supplies are in those boxes.

More experiments

Just playing around this afternoon.

Unusual Journeys

I am certainly on an unusual journey!

I made this background ages ago and just found it amongst my rubble. I also came across the images and it all sort of came together just like that. Not much stamping here but I love these colors. I am hoping my freight arrives from London this week although I have no idea where I will put everything.

Green

Another atc; experimenting with color. Green seems to be today's experiment. I tend to gravitate towards warm colors but like to shake things up from time to time.

Another late night creation

I am reading Traci Bautista's Collage Unleashed and she encourages you to slap on the paint and play which is what I am doing since I am having trouble sleeping. Background is done with acrylics. 'Love EM!!

Journal page

This is a page from my journal which I am trying to keep. I haven't signed up for any swaps and I am trying to get back into a creative state of mind so I decided to do stuff for myself in a journal. I plan on writing in the empty spaces with a black marker, but I just love this lone bloom. The background was created with twinkling h2o's and at first I hated it. Just goes to show that you should not judge a piece till it's finished.
We must cherish life.
My message for today.

Late night

Couldn't sleep so I thought I would play with some paints on my desk. Still trying to work out how to configure my art room!

Wednesday Stamper

My contribution to this weeks Wednesday Stamper. The swirls are quite subtle but it was the only swirl stamp I could find. My favorite is actually in a box winging its way across the atlantic(I hope!!)

Playing with bits and pieces lying around the place

I have wanted this stamp for years!!!!! I found it in the Stamp store a couple of days ago and just had to have it. I played with bits and pieces I found lying around. I need to set up some kind of stamping space soon.

Wednesday Stamper Week 4

Here are my entries for this week's Wednesday Stamper. We moved back to the US this week and I found it quite challenging to stamp since all my supplies are scattered all over; most of my stamping supplies are in transit and have not arrived yet but it was nice seeing a lot of the stuff I left behind even though I have to unpack everything yet again since we not only moved from England to the US, but moved house in the US yet again!!! I promised myself I am going to trim down all my "stuff" and really go for a major reorganization.
I made a tag for starters and then decided to try out the same stamp in a different format. However I think they are still very similar even though I tried to vary the style.
