Unfortunately I don't have any of my baby pics. I am trying to get hold of pics of my childhood from my mother but even she does not know where they are amongst her things which is a crying shame....

I was playing around with watercolors which is rare for me and came up with this cool coloring which I absolutely love. I love how the colors grade from one shade to another. I found this pic that I really like and love how the colors differ yet complement the nude and purple. I am going to write in the empty spaces. I will have to change the date since I never got down to writing on the 26th!! LOL

Here is my second offering in these colors. I tried to tone them down a bit but how much toning down can one do with lime green and purple I ask you???LOL

This is a lime green and purple 4 by 4 for a color challenge. Quite difficult to work with.
Mission Accomplished
Here is my third and final vintage nude postcard. I can sit back and relax since I am way inside the deadline technically speaking. It may take a week for the postcards to travel to Scotland, in which case I may be just in time. LOL!

I got the chance to make another postcard this evening. Tried a more neutral palate for this one and I do like it.

Here is one of my postcards for the swap on art-e-zine. I love working with nudes(does that say something about me???LOL) Only tasteful ones though. This swap should be fun. I seem to be on a roll today so I need to try and finish off this swap today. Life is calling right now though!
Canvas for a friend
I made this canvas for a friend. I am trying to catch up on a few obligations whilst the iron is hot! I seem to be in this brown color mode which is soooooo unusual for me!! Actually I found a canvas I had painted almost a year ago and decided to finish it off. That is my goal of late; to try and finish off all kinds of unfinished things in my art room.

Crown
Here is my contribution to this weeks Wednesday Stamper. Early for me! I attended a class last night and that seemed to give me the creative push I was looking for. I could not come up with anything for last weeks schooldays theme, but I consider it a challenge to revisit at a later date. I need to look through my collage images; my creating space is still a mess that needs some hard duty organization. I love
Michelle Ward's new stamps. Anyone have any idea what that large stamp in the top left corner says?? She has a challenge going on through her blog but I don't have any real Halloween stamps. Yet another challenge to try and use what I can find in my stash!!
What do you do??
YUP! I have been in a creative slump these past couple of weeks. I regularly slide down that hill and I know it has been beaten to death all over the net and in magazines, but I am still curious as to how creative minds overcome slumps. I have found I cannot create when I am preoccupied with other things in my life or when I am stressed by work.
I made this piece because a friend asked me to help out. At least it was a push to try and do something!!! Sometimes deadlines can force me to try and think of something to do but I am never one who likes being forced to do anything. I love browsing blogs and I am a total magazine freak so I tend to browse those if I am not doing something creative. I know a lot of programs recommend doing something artistic every day even if you are not feeling creative but I have tons and tons of unfinished backgrounds, journals etc all over the joint!!!

This is a bit lame as far as hearts go, but I could not for the life of me find any heart stamps today. The image of the couple is one of my favorites and always reminds me of Paris; not sure why????

Wednesday Stamper
Here is my contribution for this week's theme. I am not terribly happy with it as I think the house looks like it is floating. This is a page in my journal. I will look at it again tomorrow and see if I can do anything to fix my uneasiness with the page.However, I love how these challenges have forced me to think outside my comfort zone.
